Webinar: How to tell your parents you're not going to be a doc, engineer, lawyer

FREE Webinar: How to tell your parents you're not going to be a doc, engineer, lawyer

Webinar to help you navigate difficult career conversations & expectations of traditional parents - in celebration of Asian Heritage Month.

Toronto Event Hub has partnered with Career Coach Luki Danukarjanto for this special interactive webinar in celebration of Asian Heritage Month where we are highlighting other Asian founders & businesses.

So your parents might have certain expectations of you. What if those are different from what you want?

In honour of Asian Heritage Month in May, we will have open dialogue about folks doing "DEAL or no DEAL" (standing for Doctor Engineer, Accountant, Lawyer).

What if you don't want to go down that path? What if you didn't go down that path and feel like a failure in your parent's eyes? Or what if you made the DEAL BUT want something more or different? Or your family has one idea of career success and you have another?

We'll share stories and insights, and have discussions to help you on the path.

"The greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of the parents." - Carl Jung
