Toronto Dating Hub is bringing back our comedy night for singles for February - the month of love. This time we're partnered with The Second City.
If you’re unfamiliar with Second City, you’re in for something truly special. The Second City has been the world’s premier comedy institution for over 50 years. Imagine the energy and hilarity of Saturday Night Live, experienced live in Toronto's Entertainment District. We've shaped the landscape of live improv and sketch comedy, launching the careers of icons like Stephen Colbert (The Late Show), Steve Carell (The Office), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld).
Their performances showcase an engaging combination of never-before-seen sketches, hilarious characters, and exciting musical numbers. Plus, each show features a spontaneous improv segment inspired by audience suggestions.
As one of the best date night spots in the city, Second City offers the perfect mix of laughter and connection. Singles will have the chance to mingle before the 90 min show, with a Second City facilitator leading fun icebreakers designed to spark connections.
The facilitator will also share insights on how the skills of improv—like collaboration, active listening, and being present in the moment—can help in dating and relationships.
IMPORTANT NOTE : We may NOT enforce a strict male:female ratio for this event due to the event nature/format.
What to expect at our event:
A dedicated and experienced event host & emcee - Andrea Lo
Icebreakers led by Second City facilitator and intros
Comedy show is 100 min – 2 acts +15 min intermission featuring 6 comedian cast members
Doors open 6:30pm, Icebreakers & mingling 6:45pm-7:45pm, Show starts at 8pm
